The Lewiston-Auburn Clean Water Authority (LACWA) is seeking a motivated and trustworthy worker to serve as a mechanic. Located on Lincoln Street in Lewiston, LACWA is one of the largest clean water plants in the state. Our mission is to protect public health and the environment by treating the residential, commercial, and industrial wastewaters of our communities and returning clean water to the Androscoggin River.
LACWA team takes pride in this important work and look forward to welcoming a new member on board.
This position is hourly and provides pay starting at $27.49/hr. with a full benefit package including paid time off, health insurance, vision and dental insurance, retirement benefits, professional development, clothing and boot allowance, and more. Shifts are Monday-Friday, 6:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. with eventual weekend and holiday rotation (6:00 a.m.-11:00 a.m. at overtime rate).
