The Kennebec Water District is seeking to fill an IT Technician position in Waterville, Maine.

What will I do in this job?

  • You’ll be responsible for working on KWD’s day-to-day information and operational technology needs as well as other more complex technology projects.
  • You will help other KWD employees learn and improve their proficiency in the use of computers, smartphones, and other IT systems.
  • Work with vendors and contractors on KWD’s technology system needs.
  • Help KWD stay at the forefront of technology systems.

What qualifications do I need?

  • A minimum of an associate’s degree in information technology or related technical fields including engineering, computer science, etc.
  • A desire to work hard and a proven ability to excel in a team environment.
