Position Summary:
The South Berwick Sewer District is seeking a Part-Time Administrator (1099 Contractor) to manage administrative operations and support the effective oversight of district activities. This role is responsible for ensuring regulatory compliance, coordinating communications, and assisting with financial and grant-related functions.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee administrative functions of the district
  • Maintain records, reports, and official documents
  • Coordinate with Board members, contractors, regulatory agencies, and residents
  • Assist with budgeting and financial recordkeeping
  • Prepare and manage grant applications, reporting, and compliance
  • Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal sewer district regulations
  • Prepare meeting agendas and record minutes

Qualifications:

  • Experience in administrative, municipal, or utility operations preferred
  • Experience with grant writing and administration required
  • Familiarity with sewer district regulations and compliance requirements
  • Strong organizational, communication, and time management skills
  • Ability to work independently

Position Details:

  • Part-time, independent contractor (1099)
  • No benefits
