Bath Water District is seeking a Distribution Technician to maintain and operate our water distribution system. What You’ll Do:

• Maintain, repair, and operate distribution system components
• Conduct meter maintenance and assist customers with concerns
• Keep accurate records of distribution activities and inventory
• Provide facility location information to utilities and contractors
• Respond to emergency calls and alarms promptly

What We’re Looking For:

• High School diploma or equivalent
• Valid State of Maine Class “C” Driver’s License
• Ability to obtain a State of Maine Class II Distribution License
• Knowledge of water distribution systems, meters, and maintenance
• Strong ability to follow instructions, work independently, and lift up to 60 lbs
• Availability for weekend work and emergency on-call duties (must respond within 20 minutes)
• Bonus Skills: Prior experience with excavation, dump trucks, or loader backhoes
